I had the privilege to work with Wayne for a number of years in Cadillac. In my 42 years of working with MichCon/DTE there was no nicer person to work with than Wayne. Although he lived in Arcadia and had a much longer drive than anyone else he was the first person in the Cadillac station every morning and would have the coffee on for his fellow employees. He was without a doubt the most liked and respected person/employee in the station and when he left Cadillac to finish his career in Kalkaska it was a very emotional day for all of us who were left in Cadillac.

Prayers to Pam, Dawn, Stephanie and the rest of the Eckels family.

Paula and Rod Laws
