Obituary for Dolores Joan Hakanson
Dolores graduated from Ludington High School in June of 1949. She married Kenneth Hakanson at St. Simon Catholic Church, where she was a member. Dolores was a homemaker all her life and enjoyed her family and friends. Dolores and her family had a cottage on Hamlin Lake and every summer was spent boating, swimming, and having picnics.
Dolores is survived by her 2 daughters, Sandy (Ted) Lutz and Gail (Randy) Bowden; 6 grandchildren, Lisa (Brian) Kissel, Scott (Tina) Daugherty, Angelina (Danny) Dodson, Candice Gutowski, Melissa Martin, and Ariel (Jeff) Urka; and 10 great grandchildren.
Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Hakanson; daughter, Susan Reader; sister, Beverly Ahlgren; and grandsons, Jason Martin and Cody Bowden.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 2, 2018 at 4:30 pm at Oak Grove Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Ludington, with Rev. Wayne B. Wheeler, Jr presiding. Visitation will begin at 3:30 pm, also at the funeral home.
Arrangements were entrusted to Oak Grove Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Ludington.
