Lillian Mae Fenner, 85, of Scottville, passed away at Willowbrook Care Home on July 28, 2017.
Lillian was born on November 6, 1931 in Ludington, the daughter of George and Florence (Stalker) Payne. She was married to Emmett Fenner for 56 years until he passed away on July 24, 2006. Together, they worked their farm and raised two children, Doyle and Emma Jean.
Lillian was an avid Bingo player, playing upto 15 cards at a time and she enjoyed crocheting. She was an active woman, remaining self-sufficient until recently, when she was well-cared-for at Willowbrook Care Home.
Lillian is survived by her son, Doyle (Marilyn) Fenner; siblings, William (Earleta) Payne, Frank (Clara) Payne, Dorothy Robb, and Janet Walters; grandchildren, Tanya (Shawn) Walter, Randy Hathaway, and David (Julie) Fenner; great grandchildren, Alyssa and Emilie Walter, Cody and Misty Hathaway, Mandy Roper, Sarah and Derek Hathaway, Lyndsi McKay, Kyle (Dustin) Schlaack, and Morgan Fenner; 6 great-great grandchildren; her best friend, Beverly Nichols; and the wonderful staff at Willowbrook Care Home.
Preceding Lillian in death were her parents, George and Florence Payne; daughter, Emma Jean Fenner; and siblings, Ann Goos, Mary Burns, Bessie Burns, Martha Bort, Albert Payne, Floyd Payne, Donald Payne, Mildred Gair, Alfred Payne, Eddie Payne, and Fred Payne
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 11:15 am at Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family, attn. Doyle Fenner, 1014 N Robert St., Ludington MI 49431.
