Thelma E. Smith, Age 90 of Cadillac died Sunday, October 7, 2018 at her home.
She was born on October 29, 1927 in Oakland County, Michigan the daughter of the late Henry & Ina (Crittenden) Teasdle. On November 13, 1946 she married Philetus Smith at her parents home in Auburn Hills. He preceded her in death on July 21, 2004.
Thelma worked as a housekeeper for Crittenden Hospital in Rochester for 10 years. She was a member of the American Legion of Auburn Hills for more than 46 years. She enjoyed flower gardening.
Survivors include two daughters; Janet Liddy of Cadillac and Mary Ann (Marlin) Taylor of Lake City, MI, as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter; Lynette Brown and two brothers; Woodrow & Wendell Teasdle.
Pursuant to her wishes cremation was at Oak Grove Cemetery in Manistee. No Services are planned with final interment in Colfax Township Cemetery.
