Obituary for Delores Jane Hunter
She was born on December 18, 1944 in Detroit, MI the daughter of the late Ralph Franklin & Edna Marie (Georgi) Mecum. She was a graduate of Southfield High School and had been employed as an appraiser by the City of Southfield.
Delores’s life centered around her kids & grandchildren; sons; Frank (Angie) Hunter, Erik Hunter, & Sean (Tonya) Hunter, grandchildren; Mykel, Symone, India, Taylor, Wyatt, Jessica, & Marcus, and great grandchildren; Brooklynn, Beau, Remy & Lauren. Also surviving are two siblings; Delbert Mecum and Mary Ann O’Rear.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers; Ralph & Norwood “Woody” Mecum, and one sister; Bernice Clark.
A Celebration of Life for Delores J. Hunter will be held Saturday, August 25, 2018 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the Oak Grove Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 309 Parkdale Avenue in Manistee, Michigan.
