Obituary for Aaron V. Wemple

Aaron V. Wemple, Age 66 of Manistee, MI passed away at home with his loving family at his side on May 10, 2018 after a brief battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving wife Cyndi, daughter Miranda (Norman) Minton of Wayne, son Nicholas (Bethany) of Manistee, his grandson Aurik V. Wemple, and 3 beautiful granddaughters Nevaeh, Lily & Emma. Also survived are sisters, Carolyn Wemple of East Lansing, Peggy (Denny) Hawkins of Dansville, brothers, Glen of Manistee, Bruce (Kris) of Port Charlotte, FL, brother-in-law, Dennis (Cindy) Knapp of Jackson, sister-in-law, Lee Knapp of Horton and former sister-in-law Karen Warner of Mason. He is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Aaron is also survived by his best man and long-time friends, Chuck (Dorene) Smith, Jim Roth, who was like a second son to him, Sally Beyer and Marsha Foresman along with so many other dear friends. His parents, Nolan and Jeri Wemple, preceding him in death. Aaron is a Michigan Department of Corrections retiree as Deputy Warden. He was also an umpire for Women’s College and Girls High School Softball and a Die Hard Fan U of M Football and Women’s Softball fan. A Celebration of Life will be held on June 10, 2018 at the Masonic Lodge in Mason, MI at 3 P.M. Donations may be made in Aaron’s memory to the Motts Children’s Hospital or Hospice of Michigan.
