Obituary for Robert Dewey

Robert Edwin Dewey, Age 75 of Wellston died Friday morning May 4, 2018 at his home. He was born in Pontiac, MI on November 30, 1942.

He is survived by his wife Anita (Stoddard) Dewey whom he married in Big Rapids on August 23, 1962, his four children; Teresa Dewey, Robert A. Dewey (Jennifer VanAtter), Annette (Charles) Vanover, & Kenneth Dewey (Michelle Sutton), his grandchildren; Aaron & Eric Moser, and Angel & Joy Jolicoeur, his brother; James Dewey, half- brothers; Ronald & Gerald Outman, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother; Marguerite (Plouhar) Outman, his father Edwin Dewey of Pontiac, MI, and his step-father; Alfred Outman.

He enjoyed life to the fullest with his family and friends. It was his favorite way to pass time, hanging with the guys in the garage. It was common for his wife & Bob to jump in their ’37 Chevy Pickup and go on a cruise with their friends to the UP or even across state for ice cream.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM at the Norman Township Community Center in Wellston.
