Krepps
Obituary for Ronald Lynwood Krepps
Ronald was born on July 14, 1935 in Kalkaska, the son of Maurice and Dorothy (Darke) Krepps. Ronald was a proud Army veteran stationed in Germany during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a supervisor for the State of Michigan DNR for 31 years and extensive volunteering experience including; Mason County Zoning Board of Appeals, Meade Township Board, Mason County Rural Fire Authority & Mason County Junk Authority. He was also an active volunteer for the Mason County 4H. Ronald was an outdoor enthusiast and avid hunter. He enjoyed raising & training hunting dogs and woodworking.
Ron was a great husband and provider, family always came first. Later in life Ronald was very involved in raising his grandchildren.
Ronald will be greatly missed by his wife Lois (Eckhardt) Krepps; children Christy (Brad) Elbers, Craig (Peggy) Krepps and Carly Krepps; grandchildren Ron Olson & Dalton Olson; Sisters Jacklyn (Chuck) Yob & Janet Keel. Ronald was proceeded in death by his parents and his brother Robert Krepps.
A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Oak Grove Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Ludington.
