Condolence: I got into Great Danes and rescued one. When I took him for a checkup, Jeff asked,”does he have a couch he can get on?” I said yes. Jeff answered, “good. Because if you didn’t you would hurt his feelings “

Condolence: I had been meaning to write to Jeff for several years but kept forgetting. So this year I set out a card just for him. Then learned the sad news. I wanted to tell him how much I appreciated his warm self and his practical and very kind help with all my livestock. Dogs and cats, too. What a loss. My heart is with his family and I apologize that I didn’t know sooner. I moved from the area 7 years ago. There are several stories about the man I cherish.

Condolence: How blessed I was to find such a wonderful caring Vet 21 years ago when I moved to Michigan. Although I moved to the Traverse City area 19 years ago I continued bringing my pets to the best. Thank you Dr. Jeff for always being there for me and my pets. You were one of a kind!
I send my deepest sympathy to Judy, their children and grandchildren. I am very sorry for your loss.
R.I.P. Dr. Jeff

Condolence: We miss Dr. Jeff. He will not be forgotten. He was always there for us with a smile, answers to our questions, comforting words at the sad times, whatever we needed. No question or concern was too small. Many times he would do research to find the cause of a problem, not just treat the symptoms. Our Airedale, Abby, owes her life to his discovery of her Addison’s. He loved animals and they could tell by his care. We will miss, too, hearing about his trips to Chicago for food and stamps, or his love of muscle cars. It was always interesting and fun talking with him. We miss him! We send our deepest sympathy to Judy, their children and grandchildren. Our sympathy to his staff, know they miss him, too.

Condolence: Jeff was a vet that I would call even after moving 1600 miles away. And he’d give me advice from a afar. Sometimes you find rare humans who make you believe in human kindness and Jeff was one of those people for me. He was the only vet I trusted while I lived in Michigan, saved and helped my baby several times not to mention all my families animals over the years. May you Rest In Peace, your impact has been profound 💙
