Patricia Faye Hammond -mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and dear friend died on Saturday, June 27th, 2015 after a long battle with lung cancer. She was 72.

Pat was born in Romeo, MI on July 5th, 1942 to William and Faye White. Her youth was spent working the fruit stands of the apple orchards her father managed with her 6 sisters and brother.

An independent and matter of fact woman, the two things Pat never lacked were love and a good punch line. Her sons, Christopher (Becky)White, Jeremy (Melissa) Donnelly and daughter Michael will carry the memory of their mother’s cooking, her practical advise and her love for them with them forever.

A business owner, then factory worker Pat instilled a solid work ethic in all of her children as well as her grandchildren, Jamie Nuell, Mitchell (Tessa) White, Randy White, Zachary Jones, and Kaitlyn Donnelly. Pat often said nothing makes a person feel better than a job well done.
She is also survived by her brother William White, and sisters Maryanne Borowski, Vera (Bud) Brandt, Gloria (Al) Sayles, Barbara (Jim) Konarski, Harriet Zwack and Karen Sheppard.

She is proceeded in death by her loving parents, William and Faye White as well as her sister in law Betty White, brother in laws, George Borowski, Bill Zwack, and John Sheppard and her nephew Eric Vanpoelvoorde.

A small gathering of her closest friends and children was held at her home where stories were shared and jokes were told at her expense. She would have loved it as she often said the best way to judge someone was to see if they could laugh at themselves. A separate lunch was held with her siblings and children where more jokes were told and memories shared. It would have been exactly how Pat would want her children, family and friends to celebrate her amazing life.
