Obituary for Deborah Jane Doty (Klusmeier)
Deborah Jane Doty, age 71 of Manistee, passed away on Tuesday March 14, 2023 surrounded by loved ones.
She was born on April 11, 1951 in Evansville, Indiana, the daughter of the late Karl and Thelma (Ashby) Klusmeier. Deborah graduated from Bosse High School in Evansville. She married the love of her life, John Doty, in Evansville at Bedford Tavern.
Deborah loved spending her time going for drives and shopping at Goodwill. She also loved going to First Street Beach in Manistee.
Deborah is survived by her children Amanda (Zach) Carter and Brandon Biber, both of Evansville; her sister Judith Klusmeier of Manistee; her half-brother Karl Klusmeier of Evansville; and her godmother Judith Trainer also of Evansville; and many other family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Deborah was preceded in death by her husband, John, and her sister Kathi Rainwater.
