Ann Elizabeth Twite, age 86 of West Branch, Michigan died Saturday, February 25, 2023, Cherry Grove AFC in Cadillac, Michigan.
She was born on August 26, 1936, in Detroit, Michigan the daughter of the late Donald M. & Florence C. (Brindley) Beaton. She was a graduate of Standish High School. On February 11, 1956, she married Donald A. Twite in Angola, Indiana. He preceded her in death on December 5, 1987.
Ann was employed in customer service by the Kroger Company for eleven years, retiring in 1984.
She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in West Branch. Ann was an adventure seeker; skydiving, bungee jumping, motorcycle riding, & loved roller coasters. She also enjoyed gardening, dancing, & traveling, especially to Disney and Piney Point in Palmetto, Florida.
She was the beloved mother of; Piper (Martin) Hild of Kaleva, MI, Michael (Betty) Twite of Benton Harbor, MI, Donald M. (Sandi) Twite of Davison, MI and Donna Jacobs of Lapeer, MI, grandchildren; Michael Twite, Troy (Danielle), Chelsea, & Glenn Hild, Derek (Shannon) Twite, Taylor (Caleb) Rutledge, Jennifer (Jim) Auchterlonie, Tim (Aline) Twite, and Dan & Brett Jacobs, great grandchildren; Skylar, Allison, Conner, Mason, Lucas, Jayce, Bristol, Silas, Ellis, and Madalyn.
She was also preceded in death by her sister & brother-in-law: Cecelia & Jack Swartz and a grand-daughter-in-law; Camie Jacobs.
A Memorial Mass for Ann E. Twite will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church in Standish, MI with Father Ronald Wagner celebrant. Interment will be in Resurrection of the Lord Cemetery also in Standish.
Memorials in Ann’s name may be directed to Manistee Meals on Wheels or Hospice of Michigan.
