Obituary for Pebbla Elizabeth Nelson (Jackson)
Pebbla Elizabeth Nelson, age 59 of Onekama, MI died Thursday, December 15, 2022 at her home.
She was born on May 15, 1963 in Galisco, Mexico the daughter of the late Jack & Jerez (Reynolds) Jackson. She was a graduate of Bishop Gallagher High School in Harper Woods, MI and earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from Northern Michigan University. She married Jack A. Nelson on September 24, 1994 at Hope Lutheran Church in DeWitt, Michigan.
Pebbla taught medical billing and terminology for the State of Michigan for 15 years, retiring in 2003.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Onekama. She loved going to Leland for whitefish, road trips to the Upper Peninsula, searching for Yooper Lights, jewelry making, and crafting. She was an avid purse and shoe collector.
Survivors include her husband of 29 years Jack Nelson, children; Chad (Michele) Kramer, Tyge, Tarin, & Taya (Rigo) Nelson, grandchildren; Aubrey, Riley, Summer, Ian, Kaden, Jack Ace, Wesley, Junior, Lexis, Hunter, & Dallas one great grandchild, her sister; Robin Jackson of New York, her brother; Larry Jackson of Florida, brother-in-law; Tyge Nelson, niece; Samantha, and nephews Tyge Jr., & Ian
Memorial Services for Pebbla Nelson will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Onekama with Pastor Jacob Sherry officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 AM until time of service.
Memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church in Onekama or Homeward Bound of Manistee in honor of Ivan, Tux, Nevada, Cheyenne, & Siera.
