Obituary for John Keenan Fauble

John Keenan Fauble, age 90 of Manistee, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022 at his son’s home in Harrietta..

He was born May 30, 1932 in Bear Lake the son of the late Frank and Agnes (Duemler) Fauble. He graduated from Bear Lake High School and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. On July 5, 1974, John married Mary Lou Lagruth in Fairhaven, Michigan. She preceded him in death on August 25, 1993.

John worked in the boating business for over 40 years and had been owner of Anchor Bay Boats in New Baltimore, Michigan. He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Manistee.

John is survived by his daughter, Joanne Majerle of Imlay City; sons, Jon (Diane) Fauble of Harrietta and Jeff Fauble of Cadillac; step-daughters; Cindy (Jim) Smith-Hoffman of Florida & Kathy (Earl) Noteboom of California, his companion of 18 years; Elaine Kaminski of Manistee; sister, Doris (Mike) Kaskinen of Bear Lake; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Fred Alkire.

Graveside Services with Military Honors will take place on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 12:00 Noon the Bear Lake Township Cemetery, with a luncheon to follow at the First Baptist Church in Bear Lake.
