Obituary for Frankie Esther Leatherman
Frankie Esther Leatherman, age 59, peacefully passed away in the comfort of her home on Monday March 21, 2022.
Frankie was born on December 9, 1962, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Robert and Mildred (Pattan) Letson.
Frankie had extensive family and friends that she both loved and was loved by, however there are four loved ones that held an extra special place in her heart. The first two being her grandchildren Ava and Mason Leatherman. She was such a loving and proud grandmother! Nothing in the world meant more to her than her grandchildren. The second two being her two small chihuahuas, Ziggi and Nikai. Being an animal lover, it was only natural for her to be a great momma to her little boy and girl! They were more than companions to her, they were her K9 kids.
She is survived by her three children and their father; her two grandchildren; her siblings; nieces and nephews; and her dogs Ziggi and Nikai.
Frankie was preceded in death by her parents.
There will be no services held during this time.
In honor of Frankie’s love for her grandchildren and her K9 kids, the family would like to ask that in lieu of flowers please donate to your local children’s programs and/or your local animal shelter.
