Obituary for Richard David Newville
Richard David Newville, age 83, of Irons, passed away on Sunday March 20, 2022, in the comfort of his home.
Richard was born on March 8, 1939, in Greenville, Michigan, the son of the late Elvin and Tina (Middleton) Newville. He graduated from Union High School. Richard went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Navy.
He married Carole Barber on November 7, 1968, in Fremont and they shared 53 years together.
He was a Master Electrician for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 275 before retiring in January of 2004. Even though he retired, he stayed busy spending his time in the outdoors hunting and fishing. He was very crafty and loved woodworking and leather work.
Richard is survived by his wife, Carole; his children Mike (Barb) DeKubber, Richard Newville, and Tom (Charity) Newville; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister Betty Vaicius; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides for his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his brothers Adelbert Newville, Alice Hernandez, and John Newville.
During this time, no services will be held for Richard.
