Obituary
LeRoy Ervin McDowell, age 74 of Bear Lake died Tuesday evening March 9, 2021 at his home surrounded by family.
He was born on August 30, 1946 in Lansing, Michigan the son of the late John Ervin & Donna Delores (Melton) McDowell. He was a graduate of Lansing Eastern High School and later earned an Associates Degree in Computer Programming from Lansing Community College. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps serving during the Vietnam Era. LeRoy married Judy Ann Sanders on July 21, 1972 in Lansing.
He was employed at Medical Management in Lansing as a computer programmer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, & computers.
Survivors include his wife; Judy Ann McDowell of Bear Lake, three sons; Brian (Deb) Mullins of Bear Lake, Jim (Amy) McDowell of Lansing, &Mark (Brenda) McDowell of Leslie, five grandchildren; Katilynn, Jimmy, Lance, Madison, & Hannah, three brothers; John (Kaye) McDowell of Adrian, Greg McDowell of Lansing, & Jay McDowell of Zeeland, one sister; Sheryl Cortright of Zeeland, and a sister-in-law; Linda McDowell of Kentucky.
He was also preceded in death by a brother; Thomas McDowell

A Celebration of Life will be Held in the Spring.
