There are never enough words to express the sorrow of the loss of a loved one. I didn’t get to spend a ton of time with Matt, I didn’t know a ton about him personally. Like his love of cats or how he’d always say “let’s bounce”. I’m learning of him through the memories of his family.

What I have come to know, what was clear to me the very moment I was blessed to meet this wonderful group of people 5 years ago, is their importance of family.

Summer gatherings, family vacations, lunches and dinners, group chats, zoom meetings, anything to keep in touch. To be a Monger is to be loved. It’s just that simple. No conditions.

I know Matt was proud of his family. I wish I had been able to get to know him better. He will be greatly missed.
