Obituary for Phyllis Marie Milliman (Brandt)
Phyllis Marie Milliman, Age 83 of Manistee died Sunday morning January 10, 2021 at Green Acres of Manistee.
She was born on August 5, 1937 in Manistee the daughter of the late Floyd L. & Eleanor Marie (Peterson) Brandt. She was a graduate of Onekama High School Class of 1955. One June 2, 1956 she married Hubert Milliman at Norwalk Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death on November 10, 1984.
Phyllis had been employed as an assistant clerk at the Manistee County Clerk’s Office and by Michigan Bell Telephone.
Phyllis was a strong woman of Faith devoted to church & family. As an active member of Norwalk Lutheran Church she was organist for 50 years, Sunday School teacher & treasurer, Bible School teacher, member of the Ladies Aid, secretary of the church council, and member of the cemetery board.
Survivors include three children; Deanna (Jerry) Fink of Manistee, Mark (Susan) Milliman of Manistee, and Stevan (Rose) Milliman of Kaleva, grandchildren; Jeremy (LeeAnn) Pearson, Christopher (Lisa) Pearson, Travis & Aaron Milliman, step-grandson; Kristofer (Elizabeth) Hoffman, great grandchildren; Anthea, Lexi, Jeremiah, & Elliott Pearson, two sisters; Audrey Brown of Chief Lake, and Marian Bradford of Traverse City, one brother; Floyd “Jim” (Susie) Brandt of Manistee, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers-in-law; Ron Brown & Lyle Bradford

Memorial Services will be held in the Spring at Norwalk Lutheran Church.
