JoAnn Rose May, 87, of Bear Lake, died January 9th, 2021 at home surrounded by her family.
She was born April 3rd, 1933 in Lincoln Park, the daughter of George & Margaret (Winstanley)
Clark.

JoAnn loved her work at Ford Motor Company. She and Fred moved the family to Bear Lake in
1969, where she worked at Onekama School, and then at Saywers/Coloma’s in Bear Lake.
JoAnn attended St. Joseph’s Catholic Church of Onekama where she helped with the food
pantry.

JoAnn was known for being a wonderful seamstress, avid reader, enjoyed being in book club,
playing cards, the game mahjong, belonged to her TOPS group in Bear Lake, her wonderful
friendships, attending her grandkids high school games, her charitable givings, her wonderful
home cooking and one of her favorite music groups the BeeGees. Those who knew JoAnn
knew that there was always a nice roast in the oven, and you should probably stay for dinner.
Most took up on the offer.
