Obituary for Irene M. Cabot (Adamczak)
Irene M. Cabot, Age 96 of Manistee died Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at the Manistee County Medical Care Facility.
She was born on September 26, 1924 in Manistee, MI the daughter of the late Frank J. & Blanche (Garstecki) Adamczak. She was a graduate of Manistee High School. She married Aloise B. Cabot in Manistee on February 5, 1949 at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Manistee. He preceded her in death on January 30, 1991.
Irene had been employed as a bookkeeper by the Manistee News Advocate. She was a member of Divine Mercy Parish (Saint Joseph Church).
She is survived by her daughter; Mary J. (Bruce) Alvord of Rockford, grandchildren; Jennifer (Jeff) Wetzel of Cedar Springs and their children Riley & Branden, and Anthony (Melanie) Alvord of Holt and their children Alexis and Austin, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by siblings; Peter, Harry, Edward, & Frances Adamczak and Lucille Strzyzewski

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 14, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Manistee with Father Zeljko Guberovic celebrant. Interment will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 AM until time of Mass.
