Obituary for Sheila Ann Filiaggi (Jones)
Sheila Ann (Jones) Filiaggi 64, returned to her heavenly home on December 4th, 2020 after a long battle with sickness. Her devotion, commitment, love and strong belief in the Lord brought her through many years and gave her peace.
Sheila was born to the late Dewey Donald and Marjorie (Woods) Jones. Sheila was born in Hammond, IN, but resided in Manistee, MI at the time when the Lord took her home.
Shelia is survived by her husband Joseph Filiaggi, a very wonderful man, caregiver and best friend of 24 years and her sister Etta Marlene and (Bruce) Mckinney, brother Donald and (Brenda) Jones and many nieces and nephews along with great nieces and nephews; she was preceded in death by her parents; sister Rosemary Jones; and her grandparents.
In lieu of flowers and donations, Sheila would want you to light a candle in her memory, take time to listen to the song "Nobody" by Casting Crowns and above all share God's love and love everybody.
God's Garden
God looked around his garden
and found an empty place.
He then looked down upon the earth
and saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you
and lifted you to rest
God's garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best.
He saw the road was getting rough
And the hills were hard to climb.
So he closed your weary eyelids
And whispered "Peace be thine".
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you did not go alone,
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
A celebration of Life for Shelia will be held on Saturday May 8th 2021, location and time will be updated at a later time.
