Obituary for Anabel Strong (Rivera)
Anabel Strong, Age 55 of Copemish died Sunday morning December 6, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born on January 1, 1965 in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico the daughter of Jose E. & Sharon Ann (Oak) Rivera. She was a 1985 graduate of Traverse City High School and later attended Culinary School at Northwestern Michigan College.
Anabel loved spending time with grandkids, family, and friends.
Survivors include one son: Tony (Sammi Sanchez) Strong, six grandchildren; Andrew Dixon, Travon Drake, Kameron, AJ, Mia, & Tommy Strong, her mother; Sharon Rivera, one sister; Cristina (Alfred) Hawkins, three brothers; Jose (Shelly) Rivera, Roberto (Laura) Rivera, & Sean (Jessica) Rivera, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father; Jose E. Rivera, and a son; Thomas Anthony Strong.
Memorial Services will be held at a future date.
