Obituary for Raymond Joseph Doneske
Raymond Joseph Doneske, age 83 of Manistee, passed away on Thursday November 26, 2020 at home surrounded by his family.
He was born on December 11, 1936 in Chicago, IL, son of the late Raymond and Victoria (Volenec) Doneske. Raymond married Eleanor Sue Novotny on April 4, 1959 in Chicago, IL at the Holy Trinity Church
.
Raymond worked as a machine builder for the Naval Ordinance Company and Tootsie Roll Company in Chicago. He enjoyed bird hunting, tinkering and fixing things.
Raymond is survived by his wife, Eleanor Doneske of Manistee; son, David (Dawn) Doneske of Chicago; 3 grandchildren, Alysa, Brittany and Caitlyn; close family friend, Terry Swanson; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Susan Doneske (Feb. 14, 2019); and two brothers, Robert and Donald Doneske.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday December 12, 2020 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Manistee with Father Zeljko Guberovic celebrant.
