Charles Alvin Kemp, Age 60 of Irons died Sunday morning April 19, 2020 at his home.

He was born on August 4, 1959 in Kalamazoo, MI the son of the late Woodrow Wilson & Genevieve Gustava (Magner) Kemp. He attended Comstock High School in Kalamazoo. He married Deborah Anne Kimball on April 20, 1991 also in Kalamazoo.
Charles had been employed as a truck driver by Steindler Paper Company in Kalamazoo. He enjoyed trapping and. hunting and especially spending time with the kids and grandkids. He loved playing with his canine girl’s; Jasmine and Sage. He also engaged in lengthy daily phone conversations with his nephew Rusty.
Survivors include his wife; Deborah Anne Kemp, four children; Jessica Buck, Samuel (Tiffany) Kemp, Nicole (Zackary) Kemp, and Charlie (Morgan) Kemp, ten grandchildren; Daniel, Evelyn, Emma, Carol, Margo, Eugenia “Bean”, Gabriel;, Amara, Kylie, & Averie, his siblings; David (Nancy) Kemp, Rick Kemp, Evelyn (Mike) Owens, Carol Zimmerman, Arnold Kemp, and Harvey (Wendy) Kemp, as well a numerous nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by five brothers; Bob, Ken, Jerry, Russ & Sam Kemp.
A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
