Remember Joyce pulling her wagon down to the cookout site, filled with foods perfect for a family gathering. Corn on the cob cooked in large milk cans, hot dogs cooked on long handle forks, refreshments in large containers. She calmly worked behind the scene, supporting her husband Rueben.
Her smile illuminating her home in the woods.

I have such fond memories of spending time with Aunt Joyce. She always made me feel so special! She would take me shopping, and always would buy me an outfit. I still remember the navy blue dress with blue and white stripes! I wore it till it fell apart! You will be missed!

It seems no matter what cloud loomed over anyone, it could always be removed by Aunt Joyce’s smile.
