Obituary for Lynn Larry Lindeman
Lynn Larry Lindeman, age 79, of Stronach went to be with his Lord & Savior on Thursday January 31, 2019.
He was born in Stronach, on November 24, 1939, to the late Elmer & Lillian (Jacobs) Lindeman. Lynn was united in marriage to Cheryl Jean Yankee on November 24, 1962. She preceded him in death on May 1, 1997. On December 11, 2004 he married Dorcas Hamlet. She preceded him in death on December 25, 2013.
Lynn will long be remembered for his contagious sense of humor, love of people and deep faith in the Lord. He was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Manistee, all around handyman at Center Lake Bible Camp and retiree from the Manistee County Road Commission.
Lynn is survived by his daughters, Valerie Lindeman and Connie (Mike) Watson; grandchildren, Stephen (Holly) Watson (Donovan & Erica) and Stephanie (Andy Lee) Watson; Step-sons, Robert (Robyn) Hamlet, Steven (Linda) Hamlet, Todd (Patti) Hamlet; brothers, Harlan Krumroy, Winfield (Janet) Lindeman; step-brothers, Paul Peterson, Eric (Paula) Peterson; step-sister, Marsha (George) Bullwinkle; brother-in-law, Steve (Gayle) Yankee; sister-in-law, Everyl (Nub) Yankee and Stan Bolt; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren & step-great grandchildren.
Along with his loves, Cheryl & Dorcas, he was preceded in death by his parents; step-mother, Norma; step-brother, Burke; and mother-in-law Agnes Yankee.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Oak Grove Funeral Home in Manistee with Pastor Aaron Bolduc officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation from 1:00 PM until time of service. Final interment will take place at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in the Spring of 2019.
