On November 14, 2018, Lela Miller, age 97, passed away at Munson Medical Center in Manistee, Michigan.
Preceding Lela in death was her husband of almost 50 years, Gerald E. Miller, brother Charles E. Cooley, sister Betty Jean Cummings, parents Floyd B. and Francis A. (McCoy) Cooley, her daughter Gail Everett and grandson Cody Rose Everett.
Lela leaves behind son Gary (Anna) Miller, daughter Lori (Rick) Gerber, brother Walter (Margret) Cooley, Grandchildren; Ramona (Kim) Miller-Heiss, Dee (Don) Hike, Shawn (Jeff) Tessier, Brett Everett, Steven Gerber and Jeremiah Gerber, great-grandchildren; Leanne (Justin) Kassube, Adam (Sarah) Hike, Miranda (Peter) Belinski, Kyle LeBlanc and Keegan Everett as well as 3 great-great-grandchildren; Jason Hike, Cody Hike and Vaida LeBlanc. We will miss her terribly. She will always be in our hearts.
Funeral Services for Lela will be held at the Oak Grove Funeral Home in Manistee on Monday, November 26 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Malcom Mills officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East in Clinton Township, MI.
