Benjamin T. Schimke, 47, of Onekama, MI, died on September 21, 2018.
He was born September 15, 1971 in Manistee, MI to the late Larry Schimke and Martha (Swanson) Schimke.
He grew up in Onekama and graduated from Onekama High School in 1989. Benjamin married Kamilla Tolo of Rotuma, Fiji, in Cadillac, MI on May 13, 2013.
He was a loving husband and father and a loyal Detroit Lions fan.
In addition to his mother, Benjamin is survived by his wife, Kamilla; sons, Zachary and Jacob Schimke; granddaughters, Ava and Skyler Schimke; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held Saturday, September 29, 2018, 1:00-4:00 p.m. at the Oak Grove Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Manistee.
