Patricia Ellen (Stolte) Lawrence, age 68 of Onekama Township died Monday, June 11, 2018 at the Munson Hospice House in Traverse City.
She was born on February 21, 1950 in Detroit, MI the daughter of the late Dick & Rita (Archer) Stolte. She was a 1968 graduate of Dearborn High School and earned an Associate’s Degree from Henry Ford Community College. She married Ted Lawrence on April 11, 1970 at Hope Lutheran Church in Dearborn, MI.
Patricia was employed as an insurance specialist at Bob Zakar State Farm in Dearborn for over 20 years, retiring in 2003. She was a member of Portage Lake Watershed, Farr Friends, Jr. Clio Club, volunteered with the Onekama Food Pantry and Onekama Petunia Parade, as well as being part of her book club.
Pat was devoted and committed to her family every day of her life, and loved and supported them beyond measure. The size of her heart was not represented in the size of her body.
She is survived by her husband; Ted Lawrence of Onekama, her son; Terry Lawrence, her daughter; Stacie (Doug) Hoey, and grandsons; Sean & Ben Hoey all of Holland, MI.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister; Beverly (Stolte) Sullivan.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
