Philemonia “Tina” Bartoszek, Age 93 of Manistee died Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Nancy’s House AFC in Manistee.
She was born on January 26, 1925 in East Lake, MI the daughter of the late Thomas & Blanche (Janowiak) Majkszak. She was a graduate of Manistee High School. On April 26, 1947 she married Donald Bartoszek at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Manistee. He preceded her in death on February 15, 2003.
Tina was a member of Divine Mercy Parish (Saint Joseph Church). She enjoyed crocheting, word search, solitaire, and fishing in her younger years.
Survivors include five children; Carolyn Kosiboski (Dan Hogan) and Rose (Larry) Sedlar all of Manistee, Thomas Bartoszek of Flippen, AR, James Bartoszek of Buckner, KY, and Gerald (Connie) Bartoszek of Norton Shores, MI, 14 Grandchildren, and 15 Great Grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law; Raymond Kosiboski, daughters-in-law; Kathleen Bartoszek and Carolyn Bartoszek, granddaughter; Tina Kosiboski, great grandson; Raymond Kirby, three brothers; Ray, Harry, & Ben Majkszak, and five sisters; Martha Chick, Isabelle Adamski, Mary Madsen, Eleanore Patulski, and Rose as an infant.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, March 19, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Manistee with Father Richard Bartoszek celebrant. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
Relatives and friends will pray the Evening Vigil Service at 6:30 PM on Sunday evening at the Oak Grove Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Manistee where friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. and at the church Monday morning from 10:00 AM until time of Mass.
Memorials in Tina’s name may be directed to Divine Mercy Parish, the MCC Foundation, or the Filer Township Fire Department.
