Barbara Anne Wolever, age 80, of Branch passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018. She was born June 8, 1937 in Aurora, Missouri to Joseph and Laura (Snyder) White.
She graduated from Chaffey High School in Ontario California in 1954. On November 5, 1954, she married the late DeOren D. Wolever at the Assembly of God Church in Upland, CA.
Barb did secretarial work for the Baldwin High School and she retired from the Baldwin Family Care Center. She was a member of the Bachelor Covenant Church where she was a part of the Secret Sisters Widows Group. IN her spare time, Barb enjoyed crafts, sewing, cooking, and baking.
Barbara is survived by her daughters, Susan Diane (David) Stinson of Baldwin, Pamela Anne Wolever of Branch, and Patricia Marie (Walter) Carroll of Scottville, six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, her siblings, Rebecca (Bruce) Long, Michael (Linda) White, and William (Barbara) White, and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband in 2005 and her daughter, Deborah Newcom in 2016.
A funeral will be held Friday, February 23, 2018 at 1 pm at the Oak Grove Funeral Home in Ludington with visitation one hour prior.
Memorial contributions in Barbara’s name may be directed to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
