Susan Marie Jones, 70, of Cadillac, was born on Jan. 26, 1948. She passed away on Feb. 13, 2018 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
She was the daughter of Herbert and Carrie Short (Galloway). She was married to Gordon (Pete) Jones on Aug. 15, 1970 at Manton Baptist Church. She was employed as a Chef at The Marina Restaurant for over 30 years and also worked at Lakeview Lutheran Manor as a CENA for 8 years. She enjoyed cooking, crafts and spending time with her family.
She is survived by daughter Toni Gray, daughter Kim Duncan, son Robert Jones, son Mark and husband Michael Jones, daughter Tonya Jones and Ed McDonald, daughter Tammie Grulke and husband Greg Grulke; sister Pat Cooley, sister Margaret Welch; brothers Albert and Gene Short; brother-in-law Terry and wife Helen. She was also survived by 20 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was proceeded in death by her parents Herbert and Carrie Short (Galloway); her husband Gordon (Pete) Jones; brothers Bob, Ted and George Short; sister Charlotte Cooley; brothers-in-law Jim and Bill; and sisters-in-law Diane, Wanda and Margaret; brothers-in-law Ted, Bill and Chuck Jones; son Michael and daughter-in-law Kerri Keeler; son-in-law Jim Duncan; granddaughters Arika, Maliree and Araina Jones; grandson Stephen Davis and several nieces and nephews.
A luncheon will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, Feb. 18, 2018 at the American Legion in Cadillac.
