Rosetta Gertrude Richards, age 105 of Manistee, passed away on Monday January 22, 2018 at Manistee County Medical Care Facility in Manistee.
She was born on December 27, 1912 in Strongs, MI, daughter of the late Truman and Loretta (Ward) King. Rosetta later married Lawrence Richards. He preceded her in death on April 12, 1976.
Rosetta loved spending time with her family, especially the grand-babies, gardening and all animals.
Rosetta is survived by her 7 daughters, Alma Reed of Las Vegas, NV, Charlotte Albrough of Saginaw. Florence Fenner of Wellston, Hazel (Bob) Cook of Harrison, Josephine (Gerald) Betterly of Newberry, Joyce Severans of Kalama, WA and Rudy (Carl) Gajeski of Kaleva; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lawrence; daughter, Dorothy Berry; son, Jack Richards; 2 grandsons, 1 granddaughter; and 1 great-granddaughter.
Funeral services for Rosetta will be held at 11:00AM on Friday January 26, 2018 at Oak Grove Funeral Home in Manistee with Pastor Lou Juvar officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation from 10:00AM until time of service. Burial will take place in the spring at Maple Grove Cemetery in Kaleva.
