Peggy
Although Peggy is always in my heart, this is a very nice email to have received. Peggy and I worked together at Ludington Memorial Hospital. I remember when she had her surgery on her knees and she showed me how she did not have pain anymore. She kicked up her leg and swung it every which way. One of those stories you would have had to have been there. We laughed so hard. It was a joyous moment as I watched her drag her leg and working long hours for quite some time. Peggy used to ask me to drive behind her on our way back to Manistee if we left work at the same time and the roads were all snowed covered. I guess I was just there for comfort some of those times as I could not see her in front of me anyways. As family knows, Peggy was one of those people that brought love by being in the same room. She made pumpkin pies for me every thanksgiving when my mom walked on and she made my wedding cake. I do not need holidays to remind me of Peggy, but taking these moments thinking about her has blessed my day. All my love. Julie (Peterson) Martz.
