James “JC” Clyde Trussell, 90, of Hart, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2017 at Oceana County Medical Care Facility.
James was born on July 24, 1926 in Mississippi, the son of James and Mary (Jenkins) Trussell. He served in the United States Army during WWII. On October 14, 1947, James married Vivian Juanita McCarty. Together they raised three children. After Vivian’s passing, James was wed to Carol Pratt.
James is survived by his son, Larry (Deborah) Trussell; daughter-in-law, Maxine Trussell Young; grandchildren, John (Jeanine) Eschman, William Douglas (Tammy) Trussell Jr., Wanda Trussell, Travis (Gina) Trussell, Jackie (Scott) Zack, Paula Klotz, and Christy McClelland; 10 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Preceding James in death are his parents; wife, Vivian Juanita Trussell; wife, Carol Pratt-Trusell; and children, Francis Inez (Arthur) Trussell Brink and William Douglas Trussell Sr.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at 11:00 am at Walkerville Wesleyan Church.
