William John Auten, age 57, of Copemish, MI passed away December 1, 2016 at his home. William was born April 11, 1959 in Flint, Mi. He was the son of Joyce Ann Scharf and the late Harold Jack Auten. He attended Goodrich High School, graduating in 1977. William especially enjoyed fishing and hunting.
William was preceded in death by his father Harold J. Auten, niece Jamee Wellman, grandparents Harold D. and Aletha Auten and john Scharf and Thelma (Mull), Scharf) Mitcham.
Survivors include his mother Joyce Auten, siblings; Dan (Korena) Auten, Laurie (Jim) Smith and Kristine Auten as well as nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
