Obituary for Patrick Dennis Blanchard

Patrick Dennis Blanchard, Age 49 of Manistee died Sunday, October 30, 2016 at his home.
He was born on June 7, 1967 in Grand Haven, MI the son of Barbara Marie (Cook) Blanchard and the late Franklin Wayne Blanchard. He was a graduate of Manistee High School Class of 1985 and attended Tech School for Heavy Equipment Operators in Indiana.
Patrick had been employed by C & C Roofing in Grand Haven and by Bob’s Roofing in Manistee.
He enjoyed music and played trombone in band. He also enjoyed bowling. He was a Silver Glove Boxing Champion with the Manistee Boxing Club.
Survivors include; two daughters Rachel & Randee Blanchard of Ann Arbor, grandson; Ryder Hofmeister, his mother; Barbara Blanchard of Manistee, three sisters; Lori Blanchard and Susan (John Witucki) Davis of Manistee, & Christine (Robert) Eipperle of Kaleva, two brothers; Michael (Carla) Blanchard of Riverview, FL, and Brian (Lynne) Blanchard of Spring Lake, MI, as well as nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends for a Celebration of Patrick’s Life on Saturday, November 5, 2016 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at the Oak Grove Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Manistee.
Memorials in Patrick’s name may be directed to the Manistee Boxing Club.
