Doris I. Weyant passed away at Ludington Woods Living Center September 28, 2018.
Doris was born January 2, 1934 in Hamtramck, Michigan. She spent most of her working years as a bookkeeper. After retiring she made her home in Florida. She liked bingo, reading, going on outings, and visiting with her family. Doris will be remembered for the care she gave to all her family members---always willing to help or just listen to their concerns.
Doris is survived by her daughters: Sharon Hayden and Judy Green, a sister Elaine, numerous grand children, great grand children and nieces and nephews.
Doris is preceded in death by her husband Doug, Her parents, and a grandson Jason. Doris will be buried in Florida according to her wishes Friday, October 5th. The family will have a memorial service in Michigan at a later date.
The family would like to thank Ludington Woods for the care they gave her during the last 6 years. They would also like to thank Great Lakes Caring Hospice.
