Richard L. Psenski, Age 86 of Cadillac died Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Spectrum Health Blodgett Campus in East Grand Rapids.
He was born on February 27, 1932 in Flint, MI the son of the late Floyd & Helen (Janowiak) Psenski. He Attended Flint Northern High School. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. On September 21, 1957 he married Shirley M. Modjeski at Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Manistee.
Richard was employed as a truck driver for 31 years by General Motors.
He was a member of AMVETS Post #110 and The Sons of the American Legion Post #94 both in Cadillac, as well as the Lake City Eagles Aerie #3884. His interest included boxing, fishing, shooting pool, & woodworking. He loved his cats.
Survivors include his wife Shirley M. Psenski of Cadillac, his sister-in-law; Joyce Ptaszenski, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers; Arthur & Robert, a sister; Alice Maxon, sister-in-law; Loretta Jach, and bother-in-law; James Modjeski.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, August 19, 2018 at AMVETS Post #110 in Cadillac from 2- 5 P.M. Interment with Military Honors will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at 12:30 PM.
