Cederholm
Obituary for Marianne Cederholm
Marianne was born January 25, 1943 in Ludington, MI to the late Harold and Angeline (Stuart) LeSarge. She graduated from Ludington High School in 1961.
Marianne was co-owner of the Ships Locker. She was employed at the Carriage Inn, the Dockside, and also worked for Solberg’s Boat Yard for many years. She loved her cats, gardening, snowmobiling, collecting authentic nautical items and walking the beaches. She especially enjoyed boating, trips to Leland being her favorite destination. She and her brother continued the family tradition of participating in the annual Mackinaw Bridge Walk.
Survivors include her son Mark in Florida, Her granddaughter Sidney in South Dakota and her brother Theodore LeSarge in Ludington. Also, her dearest friend who has been like a daughter, Amy Schafley and her family, and friends Mar-Kay Lloyd, Sally Kott, and Jim & Lynn Modrzynski. She will be greatly missed by all the boaters who knew her. Memorial donations in Marianne’s name can be directed to Homeward Bound Animal Shelter.
