Rebecca Mielke, 72, of Eastlake, died at 10:20 am, Thursday March 22, 2018 at The Manistee County Medical Care Facility in Manistee, Michigan. She was born August 6, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan, to Guy and Ruth Corbin. She married Edwin Mielke on November 25, 1966. Surviving her is her husband Edwin, daughter Dawn LaFleur (Steven) of Manistee, one brother Kenneth (Susan) Corbin of Royal Oak MI.
Rebecca & Ed were long time residents of Woodhaven Mi. where she lived since leaving her childhood home in Detroit. She graduated from Southeastern High school in 1964.
Services for Rebecca will be held Monday, March 26 at the Oak Grove Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Manistee at 11:00AM with Father Pablo Martinez officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Homeward Bound Animal Shelter at 736 Paws Trail, Manistee, MI 49660.
