Obituary for Terry Lee Wahr

Terry Lee Wahr, 61, of Ludington, went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on Monday, February 26th. God guided his way to help his family and community. Terry was an amazing husband, father and friend. He loved Ludington and helped the community as much as he possibly could. He supported Helps Ministry, Stage Left Theatre, and of course, the Ludington Orioles. Terry served as the building and zoning inspector for PM Township for the past eighteen years. During his time there he made many great friends, including his partner in crime, Paul Keson. Terry always put his family, friends and community first. Through his unselfish nature and upbeat personality, his love for God always shined bright.
Terry is survived by his wife, Laurie Wahr; his five children, Cassandra and her husband Sonny Munoz, Travis, Trevor, Kalli, and Trenton; his three grandchildren, Josiah Munoz, Jonah and Keiona Wahr; his two sisters, Beth (Tom) Kolaski, Kris (Keith) Ackerman; many nieces and nephews; his special aunt and uncle Richard and Shirley Sequin; as well as Laurie’s sisters, who treated he like his own. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Bernice Wahr, to whom he was the favorite child.
A celebration of life service will be held Friday, March 2 at Oak Grove Funeral Home, 3060 US-10, Ludington, Michigan. Visitation will start at 10:00 am, with the funeral being held at noon. Lunch will be served immediately following the service at Jamesport Brewing Co. Please come join the family.
