Imogene E. Tingley, age 79, of Freesoil, died January 31, 2018 at her home.
Imogene was born September 23, 1938 in Lansing, MI to the late Keith and Irene Shaull. She acquired her nurses training (R.N.) in Lansing. She married Fred Tingley on July 22, 1977 at the Unity Church in Jackson, MI. She was a R.N. in the O.B. Department at Jackson Osteopathic Hospital and also worked at the hospitals in Ludington and Manistee, retiring in 2007. Imogene especially loved camping in Northern Ontario, fishing, gardening and cooking.
Imogene is survived by her husband Fred, daughter Jodi (Steve) Rogers of Martinsville, Va., son Gregory (Alspaugh) Tingley of Jackson, MI, step-son Brian (Lisa) Tingley of Jackson, MI, grandsons; Jason Nelson of Alma, MI and Joshua Nelson of Shepherd, MI, brother Kermit (Valerie) Shaull of Spokane, WA and sisters; Keitha Baxter of Bend, OR and Pam (Kelly) Travis of Shepherd, MI.
She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant son, Michael.
