Dolores Irene Pahoski, age 89, of Scottville, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017. She was born April 14, 1928 in Ludington to Richard and Irene (Mathews) Hakanson. She graduated from Ludington High School. She married Theodore Pahoski and together they raised three sons.
Dolores enjoyed painting, especially the wood sculptures that her husband would make. She also enjoyed painting on shirts and sweaters.
Dolores is survived by two sons: Terry (Beverly) Pahoski of Scottville and Gary (Joyce) Pahoski of Royal Oak; three grandchildren: Jill (Tate) Tungl, Renia (Scott) Carrier, and Gary (LaCreatia) Pahoski Jr.; seven great grandchildren: Madeline, Sage, Nathaniel, Trevor, Briona, Jeffery, and Dustin; siblings: Roger (Pat) Hakanson, Richard Hakanson, Lynne (Clint) Odean, and Louann Hakanson; many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Delores was preceded in death by her husband Theodore, son, Teddy, and four siblings.
A Mass from the order of Christian Funerals will be held Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior at St. Simon Catholic Church in Ludington. Fr. Wayne Wheeler will officiate.
Memorial contributions in Dolores’ name may be direct to St. Simon Catholic Church.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Oak Grove Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Ludington.
