Marie Ann Struve, 82, of Freesoil, passed away on November 27, 2017.

Marie was born on March 17, 1935 in Victory Township, the daughter of Bernard and Victoria (Rakoski) Edel. She was an outgoing woman who spent time quilting, crocheting, knitting, and gardening. She married Dale Struve in 1954 and was a custodian at Mason County Central for many years.

Marie is survived by her children, Roland (Kris) Struve Jr. and Beverly Frase; siblings, Ann Arsnoe, Martha Jensen, Ray (Betty) Edel, and Henry Rakoski; grandchildren, Andrew Struve, Jennifer Frase, and Jeremy (Kimberly) Frase; great grandchildren, Dante Cowley, Nathan Frase, and Zachary Frase; and her family at Family Tree AFC in Hart.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Victoria; and her husband, Roland.

A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 11:30 am at St. Simon Catholic Church, with visitation starting at 10:30 am. Memorial contributions may be made to Ludington Catholic Voice 103.9FM.
