Skyla Anne Cole, age 14, of Hart, beloved daughter of Edward Cole and Nicolle Lindgren passed away peacefully, Thursday, November 9, 2017 at her home. She was born December 12, 2002 in Shelby Michigan.
Skyla was a bright and friendly soul who touched all who knew her. She was passionate about her family and loved hanging out with her big sister, Lacie. She was known as the Nigh Elf – a High Priestess Healer in her favorite game, World of War Craft, but she loved all kinds of video games. She was very loved in the WOW Community. Skyla loved her cats and baking with her mom. She often could be found out in the garage helping her grandpa with whatever he might be tinkering with at the time. When she needed a quiet moment, a walk on the beach was one of her favorite things to do.
Skyla will be greatly missed by her mother, Nicolle Lindgren; father, Edward Cole; sister Lacie Cole; paternal grandfather, Gary Cole; Maternal grandparents, Michael (Bridgette) Lindgren; great grandmother, Lorena (Phil); many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Skyla was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Linda Cole; Great Grandpa, George; Maternal great grandparents, Don and Helen Osborn.
Cremation has taken place and a graveside service is being planned for the spring. Memorial contributions in Skyla’s name may be directed to the family to help with Lacie’s schooling.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Oak Grove Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Ludington.
