Randall Joseph Halas, Age 57 of Manistee passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2017.

He was born on October 4, 1960 in Saginaw, the son of the late Richard D. & Joyce M. (Oldeck) Halas. He was a 1978 graduate of Bridgeport High School and had attended Michigan State University.

He was Master Electrician working out of Local #557 in Saginaw. Randy was a member of the Sons of the American Legion. He enjoyed music, playing the guitar and singing. He also was an artist. Outdoor activities he enjoyed were duck hunting, fishing, and golfing.

Randy is survived by his wife; Linda S. Proffer-Halas, three children, two grandchildren, one brother; Richard Halas, two sisters; Catherine Guevara and Jodi (Cris) Woodruff, nieces & nephews, and his mother-in-law; “Mum”; Charlotte (Jon) Straight.

Memorial Services for Randy will be held Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Onekama with Reverend William Morris officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:00 Noon until time of service.
