James Anthony Walkley, age 28, of Freesoil passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, September 23, 2017. He was born December 23, 1988 in Ludington to James and Krista (Slough) Walkley.
James worked for Schultz Excavating and Asphalt. In his spare time, James enjoyed camping, riding his bike, and fishing.
He will be greatly missed by his parents, Jim (Terri) Walkley and Krista Walkley, siblings: Mitchel Walkley and Katrina Walkley; half siblings: Laurie Hanson, Austin Kops, and Robert Kops; step siblings: Heather, Ethan , and Phillip Cox; three step daughters: Abby, Brooke, and Tayler; nieces and nephews: Mitchel, Cody Haven, Ethan , Megan, and Aiden; numerous cousins.
James as preceded in death by his grandparents.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 2p.m. at the United Methodist Church of Freesoil with Pastor Roberts officiating.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Oak Grove Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Ludington.
