Obituary for Holly Ann Laubach (Zwinger)

Holly Ann (Zwinger) Laubach, age 38, passed away peacefully, while sleeping at home on Sunday, July 30, 2017.

Holly was born in Ludington on Dec. 7, 1978. She was the beloved daughter of Daniel R. Zwinger and Cindy M. (Johnson) Zwinger.

Holly attended school in Mason County and graduated in Scottville. She moved to Traverse City to attend college. She worked as a security guard at Leelanau Sands Casino. Some time later, her parents received a phone call from their daughter letting them know that she was going to become a flight attendant for Southwest Airlines out of Muskegon.

After traveling all over the Midwest working on puddle-jumpers, Holly decided that she would attend dealer school in Las Vegas. She became a Craps Dealer and worked at Imperial Palace and Bailey’s Casino in Las Vegas for a few years.

While working in Vegas, she met her ex-husband Robert Labauch. Together, they welcomed their beautiful daughter, Haven, into the world. Holly and Haven moved back to Michigan and she took a job at Little River Casino dealing craps. She met the love of her life and light in Haven’s eyes, Elmer Harvey, who preceded her in death in March of 2016.

Holly lived a full and exciting life filled with love and laughter. She had her struggles along the way and suffered from a lot of medical issues in the last few years of life. She will be truly missed by her daughter, parents and numerous loving friends and relatives. She is survived by her daughter: Haven Ann Laubach; parents: Dan and Cindy; sister: Heather Marie Vinton; nephews: Damon Williamson; Hunter and Bown Vintin; grandparents: Aggie and Fred Bellanger; grandmother: Gen Zwinger and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers: George Zwinger and Nels Elton Johnson; aunt: Pam Johnson; Uncle: Jim Zwinger; loving partner in life: Elmer and his son Kegan Harvey.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Holly’s life will be held at the end of the summer of 2017.
